You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Learning to write for my business has been a learning curve of finding what works. You need to write with heart as well as compel the reader to open the message that you want to have received. There are several fundamentals that could go into creating the line that gets you that click.

  • An Offer
  • Personalization
  • Relevance
  • Recognition
  • Stories

I personally choose to have my subject lines be a combination of wit and information, so based on the list, I use personalization. I want this blog to be my voice and experiences for customers to get to know and trust me, hopefully gaining the confidence to delegate tasks to me as their Virtual Assistant.
